1. The water – vinegar combination for dandruff treatment.

A fantastic way to fight against dandruff, with stuff right out of your kitchen closet. Mix  2 parts of apple cider vinegar in 6 parts of water, and apply on the scalp before going to bed, and leave it for the night. Rinse the area with the same mixture in the morning, and then wash of with plenty of water. Repeat the process every week for the first month and then every two weeks for the next 2 months. You will feel the difference even after the first 2 applications.

2. The vinegar – lemon juice combination as a home remedy for dandruff.

Mix 1 part of lemon juice in 2 parts of vinegar and apply liberally on the scalp. Use an egg based shampoo to wash away the mixture after about 10 minutes. This is a strong mixture and if you have inflammation on the scalp, you might experience a little pain, or at least a tingling sensation.

3. Fenugreek seeds to get rid of dandruff.

Soak a tablespoon of Fenugreek seeds in a cup of water overnight. Strain the water in to another cup in the morning, and apply the same to the scalp. Leave it for about 10 minutes and wash off with your regular daily use shampoo.

This procedure can be repeated twice or thrice a week depending on how bad your condition is.

4. Coconut oil  – lemon juice combination as a home remedy.

Warm 3 tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan and add the juice of half a lemon to it, after taking it off the flame. Mix the combination thoroughly with a spoon, and apply to your scalp while it is still warm. Keep it on for 3 minutes and wash off with a daily use shampoo. Again, this combination might also cause a little tingling, but it’s nothing to worry. Hot oil treatment is one of the best home remedies for all sorts of itchy scalp conditions, including seborrheic dermatitis.
